At CMV, it is our firm belief that our people are our most important assets.About the roleAs a result of exciting growth within our service departments, we are looking to add an enthusiastic and driven individual to our Trailer Service Team working with multiple brands and types of trailers.This role is based at the TR Group (Laverton North) where the service department is managed by CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut on a contractor's site.Duties and responsibilitiesAssist technicians in the services and repairs on trailers including greasing chassis, inspection of steering, suspension and braking componentryRemoval of wheels, repacking and adjusting wheel bearings,



replacement or adjustment of brakesRepair or replace damaged or worn parts including brakes, tires and suspension componentsPerform welding and fabrication work as neededCompletion of service sheets and other job-related documentsAbility to work a rotating Saturday rosterEnsure WHS standards are upheld and work environment kept organised and tidySkills and experienceDemonstrated experience as a Trades Assistant or similar in the automotive industryDemonstrated ability to produce high quality workmanshipExperience using a range of handheld power tools and air toolsAbility to work unsupervised and within a dynamic teamCurrent HC or HR drivers licence would be an advantage but not essentialTo the right candidate we will offerAbove award wages, tool allowance, laundered uniform, overalls and all PPEFree insurance on your tools of the tradeFree mid-year dinner dance for you and a plus one and free Christmas hamper and family event with free gifts for children under 12Opportunity to work with industry leading brandsThe prospect to build a successful career by being part of the CMV Group of companies
