CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team as a resident technician based in the Tamworth region.In this dynamic and hands-on role, you'll be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of Volvo Construction Equipment.To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate advanced diagnostic, technical and communication skills as you will be responsible for booking work in, dealing directly with customers and performing the required work on sites and in the workshop.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Volvo construction machinesDiagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faultsWork autonomously in the field to complete scheduled and unscheduled servicing and repairsUtilise computer-based diagnostic tools and parts cataloguesCoordinate bookings and communicate directly with customersEnsure all work complies with safety procedures and company standardsAbout You:Relevant trade qualification (Diesel / Heavy Plant Mechanic)
