We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established international organisation looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team.
This position offers valuable hands-on experience within a supportive environment where you'll work alongside experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to modern accounting systems and processes.
The role is initially offered as a 2-week temporary assignment, however there is a strong possibility of extension and the opportunity to become a permanent team member based on performance and potential company expansion.
What you'll be doing
As part of the Finance team, you'll assist with:
Processing supplier invoices
Matching purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Responding to supplier payment enquiries
Supporting payment runs`




Assisting with month-end activities
Working with ERP systems and finance processes
General accounts payable administration
We're looking for someone who
Has recently completed (or is currently completing) a qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce OR
Has previous accounting experience gained overseas and is looking for their first Australian opportunity
Has strong attention to detail
Enjoys working as part of a team
Is confident using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Has excellent communication skills
Is eager to learn and develop your career
Has unrestricted working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or an unrestricted work visa)
