About the Opportunities From creating compelling content to helping promote the MRCC brand, you'll play a key part in strengthening connections between Council and the community through:
planning and delivering internal and external communication campaigns that showcase Council's services, projects, events, programs, and community impact.supporting the development of strategies, policies, and processes that ensure all Council messaging is professional, consistent, on-brand, and aligned with our organisational goals.
What you will bringIdeally the successful applicant will have the following:Degree or diploma qualification in communications, public relations or a similar discipline with relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with a substantial background in professional public relations or communications.A commitment to professional communications practice to ensure internal and external stakeholders are well informed about Council decisions or developments.Awareness of regional and associated local government issues.
Salary and ConditionsThe position is classified within Band 6 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $96,410 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
