About the Role
We're looking for an experienced
Export Operator
to join our
Fremantle (O'Connor)-based WA team
.
This is a hands‐on, end‐to‐end operational role well suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership of their shipments, and building solid customer relationships in a close‐knit team environment.
You'll manage export and coastal movements across air and sea freight, working closely with customers, overseas agents, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth, compliant deliveries from booking through to final release.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing end‐to‐end export air, sea freight shipments and Coastal shipments.
Coordinating bookings with shipping lines, airlines and overseas agents
Preparing and checking shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, FTA, manifests and related paperwork)
Liaising with clients, overseas agents, carriers and transport providers
Providing clear, proactive updates to customers
Maintain strong client relationships and a high level of customer service
Process job files, invoicing and workflow updates through CargoWise
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
Supporting the wider WA operations team when needed
About You
Proven experience in an export freight forwarding role
Solid understanding of air and sea freight operations




Comfortable managing multiple shipments simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions‐focused mindset
Confident communicator who values good customer service
Able to thrive in a fast‐paced but supportive environment
Strong CargoWise experience
Cross-trained with import experience is ideal however not a must
