About the Role
As a Dental Assistant at Elfar Dental, you'll play an essential role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring a smooth, comfortable experience for every patient.
While your primary focus will be chairside assistance, you may also support with occasional front desk tasks as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about oral health, looking to grow their skills in a professional and friendly dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
Chairside Assistance
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
Handle instruments and materials with attention to infection control protocols
Maintain sterilisation of instruments and cleanliness of treatment areas
Take dental x-rays as required (if certified)
Clinical Support & Maintenance
Manage clinical supplies and stock levels
Conduct daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control policies
Occasional Reception Duties




Welcome patients in a professional, friendly manner
Schedule and confirm appointments when required
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred (but not essential)
Dental Assistant certification highly regarded
Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, proactive, and organised with attention to detail
Comfortable with basic computer systems and practice management software (training provided)
Experience with Dental 4 Windows (D4W) software preferred but training provided
