In this
permanent full-time role,
you'll be responsible for delivering maintenance services across
Coles Distribution Centres
, ensuring facilities are secure, functional, and operating at their best.
You'll carry out a wide range of general repairs and maintenance tasks, supported by strong systems, processes, and access to contractors when required.
With a focus on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, you'll play a key role in ensuring assets are maintained to a high standard while supporting operational efficiency across busy, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Delivery
– Perform general building repairs and maintenance to ensure facilities operate safely and effectively
Preventative Maintenance
– Execute planned maintenance activities to minimise downtime and extend asset life
Facilities Support
– Respond to maintenance requests and ensure all work is completed to scope and quality
Multi-Skilled Works




– Undertake a variety of trade-related tasks across building fabric and associated disciplines
Contractor Coordination
– Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to support maintenance delivery
Safety & Compliance
– Identify risks, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a safe working environment
Stakeholder Engagement
– Work closely with Distribution Centre teams and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes
Experience & Expertise:
Essential
Current driver's licence
Demonstrated experience in maintenance, construction, or metal trades
Solid understanding of building fabric repairs and general maintenance works
Ability to perform a wide range of hands-on maintenance tasks
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
Reliable, proactive, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
Experience working across large-scale industrial or distribution environments
Multi-trade exposure across carpentry, plastering, painting, mechanical or similar disciplines
Experience working with maintenance systems and preventative maintenance programs
