About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Lineworker to join our ACT Smart Lighting team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you'll be working across street lighting infrastructure, delivering maintenance, fault finding, installations and upgrades across a growing smart lighting network.
This is a field-based position suited to someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving and being part of a safety-focused crew delivering essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance, installation and upgrade works on street lighting networks
Perform fault finding and rectification across power supply circuits and controls
Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
Ensure all work is completed safely, on time and in line with safety and quality requirements
Maintain tools, plant and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition




Provide accurate reporting on work progress and quality standards
Actively contribute to a strong safety culture and adhere to all WHS requirements
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiative

What you will need:
Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead
Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
Working Safely at Heights
LV Rescue & LV Top Rescue
First Aid/CPR
High Risk Work Licence – EWP
Construction White Card
EVO Training (Blue Book & SNI Rules) highly desirable
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
