The Opportunity
As a Financial Planning Assistant, you'll play a key role supporting a team of Private Wealth Advisers with day-to-day operations, client service and administration.
You'll be the first point of contact for clients while ensuring the smooth running of adviser activities and maintaining exceptional service standards.
This is a fast-paced, professional environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to clients via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.
Coordinate adviser meetings, appointments and client communications.
Prepare and distribute client correspondence and documentation.
Maintain accurate client records and investment portfolio information.
Assist with investment transactions, corporate actions and settlements.
Prepare portfolio reports and support ongoing client administration.
Manage incoming correspondence, scanning, filing and document management.
Support the day-to-day operations of the office, meeting rooms and administrative functions.
Build robust relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in financial markets and wealth management.
You'll ideally have:
A recent degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A professional and client-focused approach.
Previous administration or customer service experience within financial services is advantageous but not essential.
