Role: Therapeutic Youth Worker (Residential)Employment Type: Permanent Part Time & CasualLocation/s: Wollongong and surroundsHourly Rates:From $***** per hour + Super (Dependant on qualifications & experience)In these roles, you'll support young people aged ***** who've experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.
Some may have also disabilities or complex medical needs requiring specialised support and/or personal care.You'll work within a dedicated team to create a safe, homelike setting where young people can build independence, develop problem-solving skills, and form positive relationships.Our residential homes operate 24/7, therefore it is essential that successful applicants are able and willing to work a roster which regularly includes afternoon, sleepover and weekend shifts.Hold or be working toward a Diploma qualification or higher in Community Services (or a related field) or have relevant experience and be willing to complete the Diploma through LWB.
