With a robust reputation for delivering high-quality workshop and field services, they're looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their growing Dandenong South team.This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You'll be working on a variety of rotating equipment, including industrial pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic systems and mechanical assemblies, carrying out repairs, overhauls, rebuilds and fault-finding to keep critical assets operating at peak performance.What You'll Be DoingStrip, assess, repair and rebuild industrial pumps and rotating equipmentService and overhaul industrial gearboxes, bearings, seals, shafts and associated componentsRepair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsCarry out fault-finding and root cause analysisUse manual lathes,



milling machines and boring equipment for component repair and restorationRead and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentationComplete inspections, measurements and quality reportsSupport occasional site work when requiredWhat We're Looking ForTrade qualified Mechanical FitterExperience within heavy industrial, maintenance, mining, manufacturing or engineering workshop environmentsStrong experience with pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes or similar mechanical assetsAbility to interpret technical drawings and schematicsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipStrong safety focus and problem-solving abilityTeam player with a positive, can-do attitudeHighly RegardedDogging, Rigging, Forklift and/or Confined Space ticketsElectrical licenceManual driver's licenceField service experienceNational Police Check (or ability to obtain)What's In It For You?
