Prime & Naturals Chinese Medicine Clinic – Clayton VICWe are seeking a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist to join our clinic in Clayton, Melbourne, on a part-time basis.The role involves providing general Chinese medicine consultations, acupuncture and appropriate treatments for a broad range of common health and musculoskeletal conditions.This position is suitable for both experienced and newly registered practitioners.

Previous clinical work experience is not essential, as structured clinical training and ongoing professional support will be provided.We welcome practitioners who are committed to developing strong general clinical capabilities and building long-term professional relationships with patients.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide professional Chinese medicine consultations and acupuncture treatmentsAssess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plansProvide Chinese medicine and musculoskeletal treatments within the practitioner's registered scope of practicePrescribe or provide Chinese herbal medicine only where appropriately registered and authorised to do soMonitor patients' progress and conduct appropriate follow-up consultationsMaintain accurate and compliant clinical recordsProvide professional, respectful and patient-centred careComply with clinic policies, clinical procedures, infection-control requirements and professional standardsWork collaboratively with members of the clinical and administrative teamsParticipate in clinical training and career development activitiesRegistration and Qualification RequirementsCurrent general registration with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia through AHPRA in the Acupuncturist divisionRegistration in the Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner division is required where the practitioner will prescribe or provide Chinese herbal medicineRelevant degree or recognised qualification in Chinese MedicineProfessional indemnity insurance arrangements that meet applicable AHPRA registration requirementsValid working rights in AustraliaOther RequirementsPrevious clinical work experience is not requiredStrong interest in clinical practice and continuous professional developmentResponsible,



self-motivated and willing to receive clinical guidanceGood interpersonal and communication skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in EnglishAbility to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is desirable to support patients who prefer to communicate in these languagesSalary and Employment DetailsPart-time employmentBase pay starting from AUD $***** per hour, or the applicable minimum rate under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award **** for the employee's classification and pay point, whichever is higherStatutory superannuation will be paid in addition to the base hourly rateApplicable penalty rates, overtime payments and allowances will be paid in accordance with the relevant Award and legislationRegular part-time hours, generally across 3 to 5 days per weekAverage ordinary working hours will be fewer than 38 hours per weekThe regular working pattern, including weekly hours, working days and daily start and finish times, will be agreed in writing before employment commencesWorking hours will be based on the clinic's operating scheduleWork location: Clayton, MelbourneOn-site positionEmployee BenefitsPro-rata paid annual leave in accordance with the National Employment StandardsPro-rata paid personal and carer's leave in accordance with the National Employment StandardsStatutory superannuation contributionsStructured clinical trainingReal-time clinical guidance and case supportOngoing professional development opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative working environmentCareer development opportunitiesEmployee discount
