Brightminds Early Learning is looking for part-time Cook/Chef to cover maternity leave (Sept ****-Sept ****) to work with and alongside our children.
Brightminds Early Learning is nestled amongst beautiful bushland in the Diamond Creek ranges (located on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung land).
Our family‐owned and operated service offers a wonderful early learning experience.
As the successful applicant you will be required to plan and prepare nutritious meals for our children in our commercial kitchen.
Qualifications & experience
Cert III or industry related qualification in cooking
Working With Children Check or the ability to acquire
Tasks & responsibilities
Preparing meals for our children




Undertaking quality control
Keeping up to date with all health and safety requirements
Stock ordering and inventory control
Involve the children in mini cooking lessons
Maintaining the Food Safety Program
Working as part of a team that will include encouraging children to engage in a healthy manner with foods.
