Position: Welder / Sheet Metal WorkerLocation: MarsdenHourly Rate: $***** + superMaxima's Recruitment Services is currently seeking highly motivated individual as a Welder / Sheet Metal Worker for one of our government clients.Primary Role PurposeTo utilise trade qualified knowledge and skills in the workshop to fabricate, modify and maintain high industry standards while ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness of vehicles, plant and equipment with minimum downtime.Carry out welding repairs, current fabrications and compile estimates for jobsCarry out annual inspections of metal structuresAssist in the mechanical servicing and maintenance of plant and equipmentActively maintain a high standard of safety in the workshopRequirementsPrevious experience in a similar roleWell-developed knowledge and extensive practical experience consulting and advising on MMAW.
GMAW and GTAW process'sDemonstrated ability to work as a member of a team, including a high level of self-motivation and initiative, and the ability to work autonomouslyAbility to read fabrication drawingsConfident with MIG weldingQualificationsBoiler making/ sheet metal trade certificateGeneral Safety Construction Induction Ticket
