This role is pivotal to the successful delivery and management of our marketing and communications initiatives.
In this parental leave opportunity, you will have a crucial role in advancing the Association's mission to support sonography qualified excellence across Australasia.Working collaboratively with internal teams, the role will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of marketing and communications plans.
The successful candidate will create and publish content for social channels, our website, and through edms.
The successful candidate will coordinate assigned components of projects to ensure progress against agreed timelines.Key Result areasDevelop and implement marketing and communications actions plansProduce and publish content for social channels, website and newslettersCreate collateral and assets to support events, partnerships and other activitiesAssist in developing project timelines and monitor progress against key project milestonesTrack and report on progress against deliverablesMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentationWork effectively with internal ASA teams to ensure appropriate, consistent and timely marketing and communications supportContribute to a collaborative working environment and share knowledge across team.Support the General Manager, Marketing and Communications as requireUndertake additional duties as required,



consistent with the scope of the roleQualifications and ExperienceEssential:A tertiary degree in marketing or communicationsMinimum 5 years' experience in marketing and communicationsExceptional verbal and written communications skills for web and other digital touchpointsExperience in developing, implementing and evaluating communications plans and marketing activitiesExperience developing social media strategy and running social media campaignsExperience in email marketing including design, managing subscriber lists, A/B testing and journeysExperience evaluating data and analytics to provide feedback on website visitation, engagement and other metricsKnowledge and experience using Canva, MS Suite as well as experience and understanding of web management i.e. CMS and CRMsStrong organisational skills with strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and control workloadA team player who is self-motivated with a positive 'can-do' attitudeAbout usThe Australasian Sonographers Association is a professional organisation dedicated to advancing sonography practice and education across Australasia.
