With continued growth, increasing market share, and significant investment in both people and infrastructure, this company offers the opportunity to join a progressive organisation at an exciting stage of its journey.The RoleThis is a hands-on role for a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with at least two years post-trade experience.
Join one of the fastest growing workshops in Melbourne and work on brand new technology once it arrives from overseas.




You will be exposed and trained across CAN Bus electrical systems and become and expert in multiplexing.
You will work indoors in a large, well lit, efficient working environment that is capable of housing 10+ bays at once.
This company is well known and building it's delivery capacity year on year ensuring you will have the chance for fast career progression.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repairs on complex electrical systemsConducting inspections, diagnostics, and fault finding on mechanical systemsInterpreting technical drawings and documentation to ensure accurate workOverseeing mechanical trade assistants and assigning pre-delivery tasksSupporting workshop operations and contributing to a safe, clean, and productive work environmentCollaborating with the technical teams to solve problems and improve processesRequirementsA recognised mechanical trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent)Minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a heavy mechanical or precision fitting environmentStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service documentationWillingness to work out of hours and weekends as requiredAvailability to travel overseas for specialist training during the first yearExcellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with a professional and team-oriented approachCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementPlease note, only accepting applicants from within Australia.
