Chef / Cook | Day Off - Southport

Day Off is looking for a proactive and organised Cook to join our founding team.

The Role
The Prep Master: Your primary focus is prepping fresh ingredients to perfection, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and ready for the daily rush.
Service Support: You’ll jump in to help with service during peak times, ensuring food goes out quickly and efficiently.
Food Aesthetics: You have a genuine interest in food presentation.



You understand that "we eat with our eyes" and ensure every dish looks beautiful and consistent.
Kitchen Upkeep: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including managing the dishwasher and ensuring the kitchen stays spotless throughout the shift.

Location: Heart of Southport. Very walkable location with bus and tram stops just steps away.
Status: Full-time

Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in a sandwich shop or cafe workplace is highly preferred.
Active & Proactive: You are a quick mover who sees what needs to be done before being asked.
Team Player: You have great communication skills (Fluent English) and a positive attitude that adds to the cafe’s vibe.
Reliability: Punctual, professional, and ready to be part of a brand-recent opening.
