We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter who is ready to take on a leadership role.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, can lead a team with confidence, and is committed to completing projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.About the RoleAs a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will:Lead and supervise a small team of carpenters and apprentices.Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects stay on schedule.Read and interpret plans and specifications.Complete aspects of residential carpentry, including, lock-up, fixing, fit-out, decks, pergolas, cladding,



and renovations.Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other trades.Work is located in Geelong and Melbourne's west.About YouYou will have:Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.Proven experience leading a team on residential construction projects.Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to motivate and mentor apprentices and team members.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Current White Card.Current driver's licence and reliable transport.Own tools preferredExperience in volume carpentry would be an advantage.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Full-time, long-term position.Supportive team culture.Prospect to grow with an expanding company.Work Ute and some tools will be provided after probation period.If you're an experienced carpenter who enjoys leading a team, delivering quality work, and taking ownership of projects from start to finish, we'd love to hear from you.
