As an Occupational Therapist at Goodstart Early Learning, you will work collaboratively with children, families, educators, and centre leaders to support children's learning, development, inclusion, and well-being.
You will provide targeted support for children with developmental delays and disabilities, build the capability of educators through coaching and mentoring, create inclusive and sensory-rich learning environments, and assist with early identification, referrals, and transition to school.
Working closely with families and external health professionals, you will help ensure every child has the opportunity to participate, thrive, and reach their full potential in early learning settings.This role supports early learning centres at Goodstart Mannering Park, Goodstart Blue Haven & Goodstart Lake Munmorah, so regular travel between centres is an essential part of the position.Your Impact:Implement evidence-informed capacity building approaches to enhance outcomes for children and families within the early learning and care setting.Work alongside centre directors, educators and other key stakeholders to observe, identify and support the progression of children's learning, development and well-being.Use a strengths-based approach, collaborating with educators to develop an inclusion mindset that promotes occupational performanceAs a key member of the care team around the child,
