Light Vehicle MechanicGrand Motors is seeking a qualified and experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team in Melbourne, Victoria.This is a full-time permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a professional workshop with modern equipment and a supportive team environment.
$80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for:Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in light vehicles.Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.Repairing engines, transmissions, suspension, steering,



braking systems and other vehicle components.Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements.Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.Testing vehicles after repairs to ensure safety and performance.Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation.Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Essential RequirementsCertificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Good communication and organisational skills.DesirableExperience with multiple vehicle makes and models.Experience using up-to-date diagnostic equipment.Current Australian Driver Licence.What We OfferFull-time permanent employment.Competitive salary package.Ongoing training and career development.Modern workshop with quality equipment.Friendly and supportive team environment.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
