and commission new or repaired machinery and equipment Operate metalworking and workshop equipment safely and effectively Monitor equipment performance and identify emerging faults or wear Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and rectification in a timely manner Operate lifting equipment (cranes, hoists, forklifts where licensed/authorised) Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and service records Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS), environmental, and quality systems Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reliability, efficiency, and safetyQualification & experienceTrade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical/Fitting, or equivalent) or substantial equivalent experience as a Fitter (General) Experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, and machinery repair Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Experience using precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/production environment, including responding to breakdowns Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirementsAbout CompanyWork Type: Full timeSalary: $***********Job Publish: **********Job Expire: **********
