You'll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while delivering outstanding service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.You'll be responsible for preparing quality coffee, providing exceptional table service, assisting behind the bar, and helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly throughout each shift and in the absence of the Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare consistently high-quality coffee and espresso beveragesWelcome and seat guests with a friendly and professional approachDeliver exceptional table service and build positive relationships with guestsTake food and beverage orders accurately and efficientlyAssist with bartending and beverage serviceDay-to-day management of the front of house during serviceWork closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfactionMaintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safetyOpening and closing dutiesHelp create a positive, supportive team cultureAbout YouThe successful candidate will:Have solid barista experience and be confident working independently on the coffee machineHave previous front of house experience in a busy café or restaurantBe confident with waitressing and delivering exceptional customer serviceHave bartending experience or be willing to learnCurrently hold or be willing to obtain an RSA certificateBe energetic, reliable, and well-presentedThrive in a rapid-paced team environmentHave excellent communication and organisational skillsTake pride in creating memorable guest experiencesHave a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to jump in wherever neededWhat we offerThis is a part-time position offering up to 30 hours per week, with availability required on:o Fridayo Saturdayo SundayRestaurant Industry Award Rate - Food and Beverage Supervisor5 Weeks of Annual Leave (prorata)Permanent and stable employment, as Blk&Whyte; continues to grow.Great Company culture, with career advancement opportunitiesIf you're passionate about hospitality, love making great coffee, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of an exciting new chapter for Blk&Whyte;, we'd love to hear from you.Please note that only applications submitted with a cover letter will be considered.
