Our team is supportive, respectful and non-judgemental, creating an environment where every staff member is encouraged to learn, develop and achieve their full potential.As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team.The RoleThis position is ideal for a proactive nurse who enjoys working in a structured outpatient environment with a specialist interventional radiologist.You will play an integral role in delivering safe, efficient and compassionate care to patients undergoing minimally invasive vein and interventional pain procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesCompetently perform peripheral intravenous cannulation (essential), including blood collection and preparation of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)Assist with image-guided varicose vein and interventional pain procedures, including ultrasound-guided interventionsPrepare patients for procedures and provide comprehensive post-procedure careMonitor patients undergoing procedures involving conscious sedation and regional anaesthetic techniquesMaintain strict aseptic technique, sterile fields and infection prevention standards.Prepare and maintain procedural equipment and treatment roomsManage consumables and equipmentComplete accurate clinical documentation and provide patient educationSupport the efficient day-to-day running of the clinic while contributing to a positive patient experienceAbout YouYou are a compassionate,
organised and adaptable Registered Nurse who enjoys procedural nursing and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseDemonstrated competency inperipheral intravenous cannulationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCalm, professional and compassionate mannerStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently while contributing positively within a close-knit teamCommitment to patient safety, clinical excellence and continuous professional developmentLegal right to work in AustraliaHighly RegardedExperience in one or more of the following areas will be highly regarded:Interventional Radiology or PainVascular NursingUltrasound-guided proceduresRegenerative medicine or minimally invasive procedural practicePrevious experience in these areas is advantageous however comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant with the right attitude, strong clinical skills and a willingness to learn.What We OfferInitial appointment will be on a casual basisBy agreement,a combination of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and/or Friday in Geelong, with fortnightly Wednesdays at our new East Melbourne clinic.
