REFOCUS is seeking a Kinship Care SupportPractitioner to join our Supporting Kin program and provide ongoingsupport to approved kinship carers, helping create safe, stable, and nurturingenvironments for children and young people.This role works in partnership with kinship carers,children, families, Child Safety, and community partners to strengthen carercapability, support placement stability, and promote positive outcomes forchildren and young people.About the roleAs a Kinship Care Support Practitioner,



you will:Provideongoing support to approved kinship carers throughout their caring journeyBuildcollaborative and trusting relationships with carersDelivercoaching, mentoring, guidance, and practical support to strengthen carercapabilityParticipatein case planning and care team meetingsCoordinatereferrals to therapeutic, specialist, and community servicesAdvocatefor the needs of children, young people, and carersSupportcarers through review and renewal processesAssistcarers to maintain approval requirements, clearances, and documentationProvidepractical and emotional support during periods of stress, crisis, orplacement transitionPromoteculturally safe, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practiceSupportchildren's identity, culture, and lifelong family connectionsMaintainaccurate records, reports, and case documentationThis role requires strong relationship-building skills,sound judgement, and a commitment to child-centred practice that supportspositive outcomes for children, young people, and families.Pay and conditionsHourly pay rates range from:Level 1 PPT3 $***** per hour, up to Level 3 PPT4 $***** perhourClassification level and pay rate are assessed anddetermined based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capability.What we're looking forWe're looking for someone who:Hasa genuine commitment to child safety and positive outcomes for childrenand young peopleCanbuild strong, respectful,
