Melbourne River Cruises is looking for a motivated and reliable Deckhand to join our team.What We Offer***** hours per weekFull training provided across multiple vesselsOpportunity to assist our Captains and gain hands-on experience operating vessels on the Yarra RiverCareer pathway support for those interested in obtaining maritime qualifications and progressing towards becoming a qualified MasterBe part of Melbourne's thriving tourism industry, welcoming guests from around the worldWork across our fleet of seven vessels, including sightseeing cruises, private charters, party cruises, and the iconic Spirit of Melbourne Cruising RestaurantKey ResponsibilitiesPreparing vessels for daily operations and packing down after serviceGeneral cleaning, presentation,



and basic maintenance of vesselsChecking tickets and assisting passengers with boarding and enquiriesServing food and beverages from our onboard snack barRefuelling vessels and carrying out end-of-day shutdown proceduresAssisting the Captain with the safe and efficient operation of cruisesQualifications & ExperienceAvailability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidaysMust be based in MelbourneCurrent RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, or willingness to obtain onePrevious experience in hospitality, boating, or maintenance is highly regardedA friendly, customer-focused attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamReliable, proactive, and willing to learnWhy Join Us?
