Casual Maintenance & Groundsperson OpportunityAquis Farm is seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Maintenance & Groundsperson to join our team at our picturesque thoroughbred farm in Canungra.As we head into the busy spring season, we're looking for someone to assist with maintaining the farm's gardens, grounds and general maintenance.
This role offers flexible casual hours, with days and hours to be discussed with the successful applicant.
Occasional weekend work may be required during busy periods.Key ResponsibilitiesMowing, weed control, spraying and general garden maintenanceOperating equipment including ride-on and push mowers, brush cutters, blowers, edgers, hedgers and spraying equipmentOperating tractors and skid steersMaintaining the farm's gardens and grounds to a high professional standardCarrying out basic servicing, maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles,



equipment and machineryAssisting with general labouring and farm maintenance tasks as requiredTo Be Successful You'll NeedExperience in turf and lawn maintenanceAbility to safely operate farm machinery and carry out basic repairs and maintenanceKnowledge of weed control chemicals and pesticidesExperience maintaining irrigation systems (desirable)A strong work ethic with the ability to work independentlyGood physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour and occasional heavy liftingA current Australian driver's licenceWhat We OfferFlexible casual hoursCompetitive hourly rate based on experienceA supportive and friendly team environmentThe prospect to work on one of Queensland's premier thoroughbred farmsPlease NoteThis is a long-term opportunity.
