Smith St Bistrot' is seeking a talented and dedicated Commis Chef with some pastry exposure to join our dynamic kitchen team in Collingwood, VIC.
As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in the preparation and execution of high-quality, seasonal dishes for our discerning customers.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, professional environment.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Head Chef and Senior Chefs in the daily preparation and cooking of menu items
Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation and timely delivery of dishes
Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work station
Follow all health and safety protocols and uphold our high food safety standards
Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen processes and procedures
Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers
What we're looking for
Culinary qualification or relevant experience in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Passion for using fresh, seasonal produce to create cutting-edge,
