THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of DC Operations, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, safety,



operational performance, and compliance of the Distribution Centre.
You'll lead a team of Section Leads and frontline team members, ensuring the site consistently delivers strong service outcomes, operational efficiency, and a positive team culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive accountability, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure operational rhythms are embedded across the site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and champion a proactive safety-first cultureDrive daily operational performance across DIFOT, productivity, and accuracyLead, coach, and develop Section Leads and warehouse teamsOversee labour planning, workflow priorities, and shift executionEnsure stock integrity processes and cycle counting activities are maintainedSupport customer outcomes through strong operational deliveryDrive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, service, and efficiencyEnsure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and audit requirementsPartner closely with national leadership and support teams on site initiatives and operational improvements
ABOUT YOU




You are an experienced operational leader who thrives in fast-paced warehouse or distribution environments.
You bring a strong leadership style, operational discipline, and the ability to engage and motivate teams.
You'll also bring:
Previous leadership experience within a Distribution Centre or warehouse environmentStrong people leadership and coaching capabilityExperience managing operational KPIs and performance outcomesA strong understanding of safety and compliance requirementsExperience working with WMS and operational systemsThe ability to problem solve, prioritise, and make sound decisions under pressureExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
