Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties
Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs.
Tyre fitment and wheel balancing.
Wheel alignments.
Minor electrical diagnosis and repairs.
Use diagnostic tools and software and be able to report/repair faults.
Carry out minor and major brake repairs including overhauling systems.
Maintain secure work environment and keep up to date with latest laws and regulations.
Report to office manager with work/notes carried out on vehicles and be able to give feedback.
Road testing vehicles for faults and reporting back to workshop manager and head mechanic.
Keeping workshop clean and tidy and daily checks of vehicle hoists and tools.
Skill & Experience
Required Skills
Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Australia
Communication between other workers and management.
Solve problems on daily basis.
Be able to trouble shoot and adapt.
Get up to date with latest car software.
Get up to date with latest car diagnostic tools.
