Part time Property Management AssistantRaine & Horne Essendon is seeking a motivated Part-Time Property Management Assistant to join our growing team.About the roleThis is an ideal chance for someone looking to begin or further develop a career in residential property management while maintaining part-time working hours.
Based in our Essendon office, you will support our experienced property management team with inspections, maintenance coordination, tenancy administration and client enquiries.You will receive practical, hands‐on training in a supportive setting, with responsibilities tailored to your experience and agreed working days.
The role may suit someone studying, returning to the workforce or seeking greater work-life balance.Position detailsPart-time, with working days and hours to be agreedOffice-based in Essendon, with local travel for property inspectionsAdditional hours may occasionally be available by mutual agreementPotential to develop into a larger or full-time role as your experience growsKey responsibilitiesYour duties will include:Supporting the management of a residential property portfolioConducting routine property inspections and preparing transparent reportsCoordinating maintenance and repairs with tenants, landlords and tradespeopleResponding professionally to enquiries by phone, email and in personPreparing lease agreements, tenancy documents and general correspondenceAssisting with rental payment records, bond lodgements and database updatesProcessing tenancy applications, references and verification checksFollowing up outstanding matters and providing clear handover notes to ensure continuity across non-working daysCompleting general administrative tasks and supporting the wider office teamHelping deliver responsive,
professional service to landlords and tenantsWhat we're looking forWe are looking for someone who brings:A genuine interest in real estate and property managementA willingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organisation, time management and attention to detailThe ability to prioritise tasks within part‐time working hoursConfidence using computers and Microsoft Office applicationsA professional, reliable and team‐oriented approachA valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport for inspectionsPrevious experience in real estate, property management, customer service or administration would be an advantage but is not essential.
