National Estimator | Commercial Fitout & New BuildBrisbane, Sydney or MelbourneMarket-leading salary packageAn established national commercial construction and fitout contractor is looking to appoint an experienced National Estimator to support its continued growth across Australia.This is a senior opportunity for an estimator who enjoys working across multiple markets, building strong subcontractor relationships and taking ownership of tenders from initial review through to final submission.The business delivers high-quality commercial fitout, refurbishment and selected new-build projects, with project values ranging up to approximately $35 million.The RoleReporting to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for estimating and tendering projects across the company's national operations.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeReviewing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and scopes of workPreparing detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissionsCompleting trade take-offs and subcontractor comparisonsDeveloping accurate project budgets and construction methodologiesManaging subcontractor and supplier pricingIdentifying commercial risks, exclusions and value-management opportunitiesWorking closely with project,



design and delivery teamsSupporting early contractor involvement and negotiated opportunitiesMaintaining strong relationships with subcontractors across multiple statesAssisting with tender interviews, handovers and post-tender negotiationsAbout YouTo be considered, you will ideally have:Strong estimating experience within commercial construction or fitoutExperience pricing fitout, refurbishment or new-build projectsThe ability to price projects valued up to $35 millionStrong knowledge of Australian construction methodologies and trade packagesEstablished subcontractor relationships within your local marketExcellent attention to detail and commercial awarenessStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsThe ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlinesExperience using recognised estimating and construction softwareThe OpportunityNational estimating position with genuine influence across the businessBased in Brisbane, Sydney or MelbourneCommercial fitout, refurbishment and selected current-build projectsProjects valued up to approximately $35 millionEstablished national contractor with a strong pipelineSupportive senior leadership teamMarket-rate or above-market salary package, depending on experienceLong-term career development and progressionThis position would suit an experienced Senior Estimator ready to step into a national role, or an established National Estimator looking for a growing contractor where they can make a genuine impact.
