Our team of nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals offer a range of healthcare services, including health assessments, chronic disease management, health promotion, wound management, immunizations, and other primary health interventions.
HCA also launched a 24/7 Virtual Care Centre (VCC), offering remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations to enhance onsite care for detainees.Employment Type:Full-time,Part-time and casual – day shift only (mon/Fri)As an AOD Registered Nurse, you'll play a critical role in delivering holistic, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team environment.In this role, you will:As an AOD Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing person-centred, high-quality, and secure care to individuals in detention with alcohol and other drug-related needs.
You will conduct comprehensive AOD assessments, develop and implement care plans, deliver brief interventions,
support withdrawal management, and monitor progress.This is a great opportunity to work across a range of AOD services, including harm reduction, health promotion, medication administration, and psychoeducation.
