About the role
As a Palliative Care Nurse (EN or RN), you will provide high-quality clinical care and emotional support to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
You will play an essential role in symptoms management, end-of-life care, patient advocacy and supporting families and carers.

Key responsibilities:




Delivering compassionate and evidence-based nursing careAssessing pain and complex symptoms effectivelySupporting patients and families emotionally and psychologicallyWorking collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamParticipating in discharge planning and care coordinationMaintaining accurate clinical documentsContributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Authority to work in AustraliaCurrent AHPRA Registration (no restrictions)Experience in palliative, oncology and aged careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsA compassionate and patient-centered approach to careExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsTo work well both independently and within a teamPostgraduate qualification or studies in palliative careExperience with syringe drivers and symptoms managementKnowledge of advanced care planning and end-of-life care pathways

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the NSWNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement - starting from $***** - $***** per hour.
