Machine Operator (Forklift License Desirable) - Rotational ShiftOur client is a cable manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD.
They are looking for machine operators with LF licenses who can work on a fixed rotating roster (weekly).
About the Role:You will be working with a team operating various machines (training provided).
This will be a long-term ongoing position to go permanent full time after 4-6 months depending on your work performance and attendance.Fixed rotating roster (weekly rotation) | Monday to Thursday roster (38 hours per week)Week 1 & 3: Morning ShiftMonday to Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pmThursday: 6:00am - 2:00pmWeek 2 & 4: Night ShiftMonday to Wednesday: 4:00pm - 2:00amThursday: 4:00pm - 12:00amPay RatesMorning Shift: $*****/hr + SuperNight Shift:
$*****/hr + SuperDuties and responsibilitiesOperating and monitoring production machineryLoading and moving materials using a forkliftConducting quality checks on finished productsAssisting with machine setups and changeoversWorking with the production team to meet daily targetsMaintaining a clean and safe work environmentFollowing safety and quality proceduresGeneral factory and production duties as requiredAbout you:Previous machine operating or manufacturing experiencProduct assembly experience.Knowledge of how to use hand tools.A forklift license is a MUST (no experience required)Can work on a fixed rotating roster (see roster sample above)Physically fit to do manual handling duties.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
