In this client-focused role, you'll provide tailored physical and emotional support to help individuals thrive.Key responsibilities include:Supporting clients in accessing and using our facilities including the Health Club, Group Fitness classes and Aquatics/Hydrotherapy areasAssisting with mobility and transfersPerforming secure and effective manual handling techniquesEncouragement,



emotional support and connection between Support Officer and clientProviding personal care (as required and agreed upon prior)Training will be provided for these duties.About you:To be successful in this role you will have;Proven leadership experience and a track record of achieving results in the leisure industry, along with relevant tertiary qualificationsStrong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with people of all abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team that champions inclusivity and diversityWillingness to be flexible and adapt to the evolving needs of EBA clients and the programQualifications and ExperienceLevel 2 First Aid with CPR (or be willing to obtain)Manual Handling Training (or be willing to obtain)Working with Children's Check (or be willing to obtain)NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or be willing to obtain)Current Driver's license (desirable)Position Description:Every Body Active Support Officer - Position Description.pdf
