This will be a great opportunity to work within a strong team in a fast-paced diverse culinary operation.Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for working with a team of chefs and cooks to deliver the Kitchen's operational and delivery needs on all menus at Lachlan's Restaurant, Brew Café, and events & catering.
Shifts will vary, and you will need be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including on public holidays and weekends.ABOUT YOUYou are a highly motivated hands-on individual who is able to work effectively with our food and beverage team to assist in achieving high-standards in food preparation and maintain customer satisfaction levels, and are able to demonstrate the following key criteria:Prepare and plate food aligned to set menu and allergy requirements for banquets, a la carte service and/ or cocktail events across Lakeside Hotel & conference centre venuesProven track record of high performance in a quick-paced environmentMaintain high standards and a thorough understanding of HACCP food Safety regulations with Food Hygiene QualificationsDemonstrated experience working in a high-volume kitchen, restaurant or café, or a catering backgroundSound knowledge of WH&S; requirements and impeccable presentation and hygiene standardsStrong interpersonal and communication skills,
