Senior Contracts and Project Officer
Contingent Continuing, Full -Time Appointment

Annual salary $108,*********,491 pa + 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave

About the Position
As the Senior Contracts and Projects Officer, you will be responsible for leading the negotiation, development and management of research funding contracts and agreements, providing expert contractual advice to staff and stakeholders, supporting business development and tender activities, ensuring compliance and risk management, and driving continuous improvement of research contracts, policies, systems and processes to support the University's research and innovation objectives.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
Tertiary qualification in Law and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.
Demonstrated expertise with contract negotiations, developing and managing research contracts with national and international funding bodies and clients.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and client (both internal and external) management skills including the ability to negotiate, motivate, influence, and build professional relationships.
Demonstrated ability to use negotiation techniques in a manner that gains agreement or acceptance.
Demonstrated ability to show initiative, prioritise and apply judgment when undertaking tasks to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative policies, procedures, and practices in pursuit of continuous improvement and/or strategic planning.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 8.
The base salary will be in the range of $108,*********,491 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $126,*******,314 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
