The selection criteria reflects the requirements for a Level 3 applicant.

The expected performance of the incumbent will be commensurate with his/her years of experience and current level at commencement of appointment.
The incumbent will work towards meeting the criteria for Level 3.
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to contribute to a Mehi Sector-wide role, providing expert care and professional advice to clients, families, and staff regarding palliative care needs.
This position is based within the Moree Community Health team, working alongside a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary workforce.About the RoleIn this rewarding position, you will:Deliver occupational therapy services to clients with palliative care needs across the Mehi SectorProvide clinical advice and support to staff managing patients with life-limiting illnessesWork collaboratively within a specialised palliative care team including:Palliative Care CNC 2Palliative Care Registered NursePalliative Care Allied Health Social WorkerIntegrate within the broader Community Health team, which includes:Full time and part-time generalist OT servicesMultidisciplinary allied health and nursing professionalsWhat You'll BringWe are looking for a clinician who has:Experience in occupational therapy within palliative care, oncology, or other life-limiting illness settings Requirements:Eligibility to drive in NSWMust hold qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and have current registration with AHPRA.What we offerAt Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), enjoy a career where you're challenged by interesting work and surrounded by spectacular locations.
