Senior Control Systems Infrastructure Engineer | OT Security | National Security | NV1NW Technology is partnering with a leading organisation delivering cyber security capabilities within a National Security environment.
We are seeking experienced Senior Control Systems Infrastructure Engineers with a strong background in Operational Technology (OT) Security, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and critical infrastructure environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to nationally significant programs focused on improving the cyber resilience of operational technology environments supporting Australia's National Security capability.
National Security Program- Critical Infrastructure OT / ICS
Long-Term Opportunity- 12 months+ 2*12 months extensions
Location- Open to ACT, VIC, QLD & WA
Key Responsibilities
Assess and enhance the security posture of Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Provide specialist advice on OT cyber security across industrial and critical infrastructure environments.
Perform industrial cyber risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Review and assess control system security documentation and technical designs.
Evaluate compliance against recognised cyber security standards and industry frameworks.
Identify security vulnerabilities within OT environments and recommend practical remediation strategies.
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and cyber security teams to improve overall security resilience.




Support the design and implementation of secure infrastructure solutions for control systems.
About YouYou will bring experience in several of the following:
Operational Technology (OT) Security
Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
SCADA environments
Industrial cyber security
Critical infrastructure environments
OT risk assessments
Security architecture or infrastructure engineering
Threat modelling and vulnerability assessments
Network segmentation and secure network design
Cyber security governance and compliance
Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:
ISA/IEC *****
GICSP, GRID or SANS ICS certifications
NIST cyber security frameworks
Control systems engineering
Electrical engineering
Industrial automation technologies
