Busy roller shutter manufacturer is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Hand to join our production team at our Craigieburn facility.
This is a full time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in the assembly and process work sector of the manufacturing industry.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our manufacturing operations, contributing directly to the quality of our products and the efficiency of our production line.
You will work on-site at our Craigieburn, VIC location, where you'll be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional roller shutters to our customers.Key responsibilitiesCut Aluminium components to sizeUse hand held power tools to assemble made to measure roller shuttersAssist with loading and unloading materials and productsAssist with deliveries to customers and to siteGeneral workshop cleaning and maintenancePackaging of roll formed materialsFollowing instructions from supervisors and production schedules accuratelyWhat we're looking forExperience in roller shutter manufcturing ideal but not essentialPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and standing for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standardsReliability and punctuality with a genuine commitment to attendanceAbility to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a teamGood numeracy and literacy skillsWillingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production demandsA valid driver's licencePrevious experience in manufacturing, assembly work, or factory environments would be advantageousA proactive attitude towards health and safety in the workplace
