Fire Door Technician / Maintenance Carrier
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Door Technician / Maintenance Carrier to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role involving the inspection, maintenance, repair, installation and certification support of fire-rated doors across commercial, industrial and government facilities throughout Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection and maintenance of fire-rated doors and frames
Installation and replacement of fire doors, hardware and seals
Adjustment and repair of door closers, hinges, locks and latching systems
Identifying defects and recommending corrective actions
Completing maintenance reports and compliance documentation
Working independently across multiple sites
Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and fire safety requirements
Providing excellent customer service to clients
About You




To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in building maintenance, carpentry or fire door work
Knowledge of fire door compliance requirements (highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work autonomously and manage your daily schedule
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Current White Card
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
