We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join the team at GURUS CAFETERIA in Albury, NSW.
This is a full time/Part time position where you will be one the face of our café, delivering exceptional coffee experiences and outstanding customer service to our valued patrons.
As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating the welcoming atmosphere that defines our brand and ensures customers return time and time again.
This role is based on-site at our Albury location and offers the prospect to work within a dynamic hospitality environment where your skills and passion for coffee will be genuinely appreciated.What you'll be doingPreparing and serving high-quality espresso-based beverages, including cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites, and speciality coffeesOperating and maintaining espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure consistent quality and safety standardsTaking customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing knowledgeable recommendations about coffee and menu offeringsMaintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, including the espresso bar, equipment, and customer areasProcessing payments and managing the point-of-sale system with accuracy and professionalismPreparing food items such as toasted sandwiches and light snacks as requiredBuilding positive relationships with customers and providing exceptional service that encourages loyalty and repeat businessWorking collaboratively with team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operationsRestocking supplies and managing inventory levels to support daily operationsAdhering to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all timesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Barista or in a similar café or coffee preparation roleStrong knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods,
