Experience supporting people with spinal cord injuries is highly regarded, but not essential, as full training will be provided.About the RoleYou will be providing primarily personal care, along with some community access support.Available shifts include:Mostly morning shifts (7:00am – 10:*****:30am)Occasional evening shifts (approximately 6:00pm – 8:00pm)Community access and on-call shifts as requiredThere are 2–5 morning shifts per week,



with the potential for additional hours for the right candidate.Your duties will include:Personal careBowel care (using enemas)Catheter careManual handlingLight household tasksCommunity access supportAbout YouYou are reliable, compassionate and have a positive attitude.You are physically fit and comfortable with the manual handling requirements of the role.You enjoy working as part of a team, are flexible, and understand that support needs can vary from day to day.Experience supporting people with a spinal cord injury in a home or similar setting will be highly regarded, however, full training will be provided for the right person.Essential RequirementsMust live locally to the Bathurst areaCriminal Record Check (compulsory)Current driver's licenceOwn reliable vehiclePhysically fit and able to undertake the manual handling requirements of the roleDesirableCurrent First Aid CertificateCertificate in Nursing and/or Community CareParamedic or Nursing studentIf possible, please include your suburb on your resume.A competitive casual hourly rate, plus superannuation, is on offer.
