Our team works with genuine care, respect, and a strong person-centred approach.About the RoleWe are looking for reliable, compassionate Support Workers to join our team and provide hands-on support to participants in their homes and in the community.This is a casual with flexible hours (including some evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed) with the potential of permanant part time and full time progression.
Shifts are primarily based in the Newcastle / Lake Macquarie / Hunter region.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and controlAssist with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks,



medication prompting as required)Support participants to access the community, appointments, activities and social opportunitiesFollow individual support plans and contribute to positive outcomesMaintain accurate and timely recordsWork collaboratively with participants, families, coordinators and other team membersUphold NDS Practice Standards, organisational policies and duty of care at all timesAbout YouGenuine passion for supporting people with disabilityReliable, professional and able to work independently as well as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible availability (including some weekends)Current full Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle (highly desirable)Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)Previous experience in disability, aged care, community services or related fields is preferred but not essential – we value the right attitude and willingness to learnWhat We OfferCompetitive casual rates + superFlexible rosteringSupportive team environmentOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunity to make a real difference in people's livesWork with a local, growing NDIS provider that genuinely cares about quality
