They're now looking for an experienced embedded software leader to help shape the next generation of products while continuing to grow their engineering capability.This Isn't Your Typical Management RoleYou'll lead a small embedded software team while remaining heavily involved in the technical side of the business.This opportunity is ideal for someone who has naturally progressed into leadership but still enjoys:Developing embedded softwareSolving difficult firmware problemsReviewing architecture and technical designsDebugging complex hardware/software issuesMentoring engineersWorking closely with electronics and hardware teamsIf you're looking to spend your week in meetings, this probably isn't the right role.If you enjoy leading by example and staying close to the technology, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be Working OnWorking alongside software, electronics, hardware, manufacturing and product teams, you'll contribute across the full product lifecycle,



including:Embedded firmware developmentTechnical architecture and designHardware/software integrationDebugging and troubleshooting embedded systemsEngineering process improvementsTeam mentoring and technical leadershipProduct innovationSupporting products from concept through to productionAbout YouYou'll likely have experience across many of the following:Commercial embedded systems and firmware developmentEmbedded C/C++RTOS and/or Embedded LinuxMicrocontroller-based development (STM32 or similar)Communication protocols and hardware integrationDebugging low-level embedded systemsLeading or mentoring embedded software engineersWorking within product development environmentsMost importantly, you're someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with remaining hands-on.Nice to HaveExperience with any of the following would be highly regarded:CI/CD for embedded softwareAutomated testingHardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testingEngineering process improvementGrowing or mentoring engineering teamsElectronics or PCB exposureWhy This Opportunity?
