We have casual opportunities available for motivated and experienced third year nursing students and experienced AINs who are keen to join our passionate and caring team. This role requires providing nursing assistance to low acuity mental health patients in a recent purpose built 58-bed facility, working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Our model of care incorporates overnight admissions, day intensive hospital services, a variety of specialised day programs and community care.
Certificate III in Health Care Assistance, or successful completion of 2nd year Bachelor of Nursing
Ability to liaise with hospital staff / medical professionals regarding patient care
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Work collaboratively and positively
Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Control Principles and Protocols
Experience or interest in working in mental health
As a pre-requisite for this role, successful candidates will be required to provide a recent National Police Clearance.
