You will contribute to improving the operational resilience of essential assets and operations.Key factsLocation: Packsaddle, Broken Hill Area Engagement: Permanent Team: Scientific Lightning Solutions (SLS)What you'll doDesign and develop electrical systems and components related to lightning resilience.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement innovative solutions for critical infrastructure.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in areas related to lightning protection and instrumentation.Proficiency in circuit design, simulation tools,



and electrical testing methodologies.Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.Nice to haveExperience with lightning detection systems or related technologies.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations regarding electrical safety and resilience.Skills & toolsExpertise in software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and various circuit simulation tools.Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices in engineering design.Practical notesThis position may require occasional travel for project implementation and collaboration with clients.Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career development.
