Lead daily operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
Supervise and support staff to achieve operational goals
Monitor performance and maintain strong customer relationships
The Opportunity
Coordinate and schedule daily collection runs and operational activities
Manage and lead a team of five, providing coaching, support and performance management
Oversee the maintenance, organisation and presentation of the operational yard
Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets
Ensure compliance with company and local policies
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing operations team
Oversee vehicle pre-starts, post-run inspections and day-to-day maintenance requirements
Lead high levels of customer service, investigating and resolving service issues
Prepare and analyse reports relating to labour utilisation, operational performance and cost management
Manage employee performance, including investigations and performance improvement processes
About You
We're looking for a results-driven leader with:
Experience in logistics, operations, or waste management (preferred but not essential)
Proven leadership and people management skills
Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
