About the role
The CIHE Australia is seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Early Childhood Education Lecturers to join our academic team.
As a lecturer/senior lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, assessments and research supervision to our undergraduate and postgraduate students.
This position is based at our Perth campus.
What you'll be doing
Work closely with the Head of School to lead, manage, and grow the School of Education in Perth.
Preparing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate students
Developing and marking assessments, including exams, essays and projects
Providing academic advice and support to students, including supervising research projects
Participating in curriculum development and review to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date
Conducting research and publishing in high-quality academic journals to contribute to the institute's research profile
Undertaking administrative duties such as student consultations, committee work and attending staff meetings
Mentor, coach, and develop academic staff – lifting the quality of teaching, assessment, and curriculum design
What we're looking for
A PhD or relevant postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Current teacher registration
Significant experience teaching in higher education, with a strong track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons
Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education theory,



curriculum development and assessment design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the institute's research agenda
A substantial record of research and publication
