We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team ASAP.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and dry plant machinery safely and efficiently.
Fill bulk bags with sand and place them on pallets.
Perform warehousing duties, including stacking bulk bags and picking orders for dispatch.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
Use basic hand tools to carry out minor repairs and maintenance on dry plant machinery.
Perform low-frequency manual lifting of up to 15 kg.
Requirements:
Valid forklift licence required.
Demonstrated experience operating a forklift.
Physically fit and able to remain on your feet for most of the shift, as this is not solely a forklift operating role.
Able to read and write English to complete site inductions, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),



and understand safety briefings.
Must be able to wear a PPE respirator.
Clean-shaven or able to maintain a close-shaven face to ensure a proper respirator seal.
Respirator allowance of $1.00 per hour paid in addition to the hourly rate.
Must weigh 120 kg or less to meet the forklift seat weight rating limit.
